Weight Watchers Point Calculators

With Weight Watchers point calculators, you can calculate FlexPoints, Winning Points, 123 Success Points, International Basic Points, and International Pure Points.

Food points are the basis of the Weight Watchers Points diet (FlexPlan), which is one of the two available diet plan versions from the company.

As the Weight Watchers weight loss program has evolved, so has the way in which these points are calculated. 123 Success Points evolved into Winning Points, and Winning Points evolved into FlexPoints.

There are minute differences between the different point systems.

For example, the main difference between 123 Success Points and Winning Points is that in the calculation of Winning points, the amount of fiber taken into account is capped at 4 grams per serving.

Online Weight Watchers Point Calculators

The best online points calculator for Weight Watchers Points is located at the main website for the program, at weightwatchers.com.

The Points Calculator feature lets you find Points values for over 27,000 foods listed in their database.

For additional foods, you can insert the required nutritional values to the calculator to get the points values.

To get to the online calculator, you need either sign up for the Weight Watchers Online program OR if you already attend meetings, sign up for the Internet weight-loss companion for meetings (Weight Watchers eTools).

Free Weight Watchers Point Calculators

To calculate the points, you don't necessarily need to sign up for the online Weight Watchers service or eTools.

Instead, you can use some of the freeware software tools available, developed by Weight Watchers enthusiasts.

One such tools is the PC Points Calculator 3.1. It is available as a free download from users.dcr.net/~chefling/ww/wwtools.html.

Also, the Weight Watchers formula for calculating the Points has been published online (the formula is protected by U.S. patent law).

For your personal use, you can use the formula in spreadsheet applications, such as Excel, to make the calculations for Points.

To get foods' nutritional values for the spreadsheet calculations, you can use online databases that list nutritional information, such as CalorieKing.com that has information on over 40,000 foods.
