Provage Anti Wrinkle Cream


Provage anti wrinkle cream contains Idebenone as the active ingredient to combat signs of aging, including fine lines, wrinkles, roughness, and discoloration.

The Idebenone in the Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-aging Treatment is a synthetic variant of coenzyme Q10, which is available in many other types of anti wrinkle products.

The reason this product uses Idebenone is because recent studies have shown that under cellular low oxygen conditions that cause Co Q10 to act as a pro-oxidant (and pro-aging) producer of free radicals, Idebenone seems not to produce the free radical damage.

Furthermore, according to the tests cited by Elizabeth Arden, the studies on Idebenone on skin show

  • a significant decrease in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and
  • an improvement in the look of firmness, tone, texture, and radiance.
