Neck Lift
Neck lift is a cosmetic surgery procedure in which combines several procedures, which may include removal of excess skin, and removal or alternation of certain neck muscles.
Sometimes, the procedure may be combined with other plastic surgery procedures, such as eyelid surgery or browlift.
The most common concerns for plastic surgery for the neck area are turkey wattle neck, excess fat, and too much skin.
For turkey wattle neck, or the appearance of neck "bands", the doctor may recommend a platysmaplasty surgery, which removes or alters neck muscles to remove the effect.
Excess fat is typically handled with liposuction, which is typically the first operation if the patient undergoes several other procedures during the surgery.
Too much skin, meanwhile, is typically handled with cervicoplasty, the procedure used to remove excess skin.
