Music Therapy
In studies, music therapy has been found to release endorphins, which reduce pain, heart rate, and blood pressure.
Those were the findings from research done by Cleveland Clinic Foundation on arthritis patients.
In the therapy, upon evaluation of the patient, music therapists' design musical sessions that may include musical improvisation, music listening, song writing, lyric discussion, music and imagery, and music performance.
From anti aging perspective, the most interesting aspect of the therapy is the aspect of bodily relaxation and the positive aspects of endorphin release. Relaxation is one of the cornerstones of any anti aging regimen.
