Most Effective Anti Wrinkle Cream
In fact, many of the ingredients for anti aging treatment are available only by prescription, as they have considerable amount of potential side effects that need doctoral guidance. One of these prescription ingredients is tretinoin, which is the acid form of vitamin A and available by prescription as a cream or gel under brand names Renova and Retin-A. There are several potential side effects to this product, all of which should be discussed with the prescribing doctor. For example, the product increases the risk of extreme sunburn and care should be taken with shade and high SPF sunscreens, etc., to protect treated skin from overexposure to ultraviolet light. Many of the non-prescription anti wrinkle creams do not have similar effectiveness in correcting skin with photo-aging damage. However, in a surprise finding for the BBC science program Horizon, researchers at the University of Manchester found that a product called Boots No. 7 Protect and Perfect (the UK brand name) had much of the same effectiveness as tretinoin in correcting photo-aging damage. In fact, the researchers took the challenge only because they wanted to show that none of the anti wrinkle products work in correcting such damage as effectively as tretinoin, but were positively surprised with the study results (which were released in 2007).
