Lecithin
Lecithin is a phospholipid that has suggested potential health benefits ranging from health benefits ranging from improving memory to preventing liver damage.Lecithin is a popular food supplement, as it is a great source for phosphatidyl choline, phosphatidyl inositol, and essential fatty acids. Of these, choline is a vitamin like compound, used by the body to produce acetylcholine, which is an important brain chemical involved in memory. In fact, due to its high choline concentration, lecithin has been touted as a memory enhancer by improving cognitive function. Research has also suggested that choline intake may reduce cardiovascular disease risk in humans. Lecithin - StudiesBarbeau, Andre M.D., John H. Growdon, M.D., Richard J.
