IPL Skin Treatment
IPL skin treatment is an anti aging skin treatment using Intense Pulse Light to the skin to improve tone and texture and even out pigmentation.
The treatment uses pure, non-laser, narrow-beam of red light that stimulates the body's own natural processes to form new collagen and elastin.
The treatment is aimed at improving skin tone as well as texture, to lifting and hydrating the skin and to even out pigmentation.
The end result should be a firmer and smoother skin that has reduced lines and wrinkles.
The treatment has been said to be most effective on skin that show early signs of lines and wrinkles.
A typical treatment takes about 30 minutes.
After the treatment, as is the case with most treatments, avoiding exposure to the sun is important. This may vary, but typical recommendations for avoiding and getting maximum protection from the sun are for at least 24-48 hours after treatment with the use of sunscreens and moisturisers.
