Hesperidin
Hesperidin is a powerful antioxidant flavonoid, in fact, the predominant flavonoid in lemons and oranges.
From anti aging purposes, it is important to notice that in studies the compound has shown both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
In research, it has been suggested that this bioflavonoid may support the proper functioning of capillaries and blood vessels.
In one Japanese animal study, published in the June 2004 issue of Journal of Nutrition, the researchers also found that the compound potentially strengthens bones and lowers levels of lipids.
