Hawthorne Berry Extract
Hawthorne Berry extract contains bioflavonoids, which have shown powerful antioxidant action in studies.
In addition to flavonoids, the active components in the berries include procyanidins and other compounds.
In alternative medicine, it has been used to help regulate blood pressure and break down cholesterol and fat that may contribute to heart disease.
The studies suggest that the extract works as a vasodilator, increasing blood supply to the heart and improving circulation to the extremities.
In research, the extract has also shown anti-inflammatory benefits and has reduced blood sugar levels in diabetic rats.
