When Consumer Reports did their comparison research on anti wrinkle creams on December 2006, their first note was that the best anti aging cream is high SPF sun screen, to protect against sun damage to the skin. In this time frame, the results, from the winning product, Boots No 7 Restore & Renew (Protect & Perfect in the UK) seemed to bring in many of the same type of results that could be expected with Tretinoin (an effective vitamin A derivative ingredient to treat acne and wrinkles), the effective ingredient in Retin-A cream.
