DMAE
DMAE (dimethyl-amino-ethanol) has been found in studies helpful with age related mental decline related to mood and alertness.
There have been studies done with the compound since the 1950s, and there have been sometimes conflicting results.
However, some studies show that patients using the compound have reduced depression, less anxiety, and increased motivation, but no improvement in memory.
A study done in 2005 also linked the compound with skin anti aging.
In the randomized clinical study, a 3% DMAE facial gel was applied daily for 16 weeks and was concluded effective for reducing forehead lines and skin's fine wrinkles, and in improving lip shape and fullness and the overall appearance of aging skin.
