Consumer Reports Anti Wrinkle Cream
Consumer Reports anti wrinkle cream test list results from the winner Olay Regenerist to the worst, RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle.
The results of the study are from December 2006, when Consumer Reports released the results of a 14 week study with some of the most popular over the counter anti aging creams in the United States. There were some interesting results based on the study. According to Consumer Reports health editor Ronni Sandroff, who was interviewed for ABC's Good Morning America based on the results, price of the creams was not correlated to the cream's anti aging effectiveness. Futhermore, even the more effective of the creams studied provided only less than 10-percent reduction in wrinkles. As their best advice, for the bottom line, Consumer Reports healt editor suggests that "the best advice is prevent those wrinkles in the first place -- stay out of the sun and don't smoke." Here's the Consumer Reports ranking of face creams they tested, in order from most effective to least: - Olay Regenerist (Enhancing Lotion, Perfecting Cream and Daily Regenerating Serum)
- Lancome Paris Renergie
- RoC Retin-Ox+
- Neutrogena Visibly Firm Night Cream With Active Copper
- Avon Anew Alternative Intensive Age Treatment
- L'Oreal Paris Dermo-Expertise Wrinkle De-Crease With Boswelox Advanced Wrinkle Corrector & Dermo Smoother
