Black Currant Extract
Black Currant extract has shown on human clinical trials positive activities on visual function, and it also has demonstrated improved blood fluidity and lowered blood pressure activity.Much of the beneficial effects from the extract are contributed in research to the strong antioxidant activity due to anthocyanin and natural antioxidant content. It has also been quoted as a source with four times the amount of Vitamin C than is found in oranges, and more potassium than that of bananas. In addition to the fruits of Black Currant, also the seeds are used for alternative medicine purposes. The seed oil has high levels of GLA and ALA.
