Alfalfa
First discovered by the Arabs, they dubbed this valuable plant the "father of all foods"As is the case with most "superfoods", the plant contains a wide range of potentially health enhancing and anti aging nutritients. These compounds include calcium, magnesium, potassium, and carotene vitamins E and K, and chlorophyll. There is very little human research done with alfalfa supplements in human health and disease, so the anti aging benefits that are currently associated with the plant consumption are mostly related to the individual compounds found in the plant.
