0 Point Weight Watchers Foods
0 point Weight Watchers foods are foods that are rounded to zero on the food points list. However, even these foods add up when used in larger amounts.
Some foods get to the zero point value as dietary fiber reduces the point value of each food. Because of the way Weight Watchers points are calculated, the list below is just an examplary list of foods that that are either rounded to zero or have zero points if you use these foods as snacks. However, if you decide to eat more than one serving, you should calculate the total as the points are going to affect your total points for the day/week. 0 Point Weight Watchers Foods ListBelow is a list of foods that score zero in the Weight Watchers point system. These foods either have calories of exactly zero in the scale of points or points from one serving of the foods below are rounded to zero (as they score less than 0.5 in the points scale). The value in parentheses is the actual, fractional value for one serving of the food. For converting nutritional facts into points for these foods, I used a freeware called PC Points Calculator, version 3.1. (downloadable from users.dcr.net/~chefling/ww/wwtools.html) With this freeware, you can calculate Weight Watchers points, including Winning Points, 123 Success Points, International Basic Points, and International Pure Points. The 0 point Weight Watchers foods below are based on Winning Points calculations. To get the nutritional facts for the foods, I used an online database that lists nutritional values for the products, located at calorieking.com. The calculator does not accept fractional nutrition values (for calories, dietary fiber, or fat), so I rounded the numbers used in calculations to the closest full number. All the point values are based on nutritional facts for one serving of the food item, as listed in the CalorieKing website. - Baby carrots, raw (0.12 points)
